COVID-19 Negative Testing Options

For foreign nationals attending NEURO2022 on-site who require a negative test result before leaving the country, please refer to the following details regarding COVID-19 testing options in Okinawa/Japan.

1. Okinawa PCR Kensa Center

- Okinawa PCR Center in Asato, Naha (International st.) (Open every day from 8:00 - 20:00 JST)
- Okinawa PCR Center in Kumoji, Naha
(Open every day from 8:00 - 20:00 JST)

Price

- Regular PCR test: 4,000JPY for non-residents
- Quicker-result test: 6,500 JPY (take the test by 3pm and get the result by midnight)
- English negative certificate: 5,500 JPY

Test Method

Saliva test (RT-PCR)

PCR test flow

Make a reservation on their website (Japanese only)
Take the PCR test➡you will receive a result by email by 24:00 on the next day. For the quicker result, by 24:00 on the same day.
If you apply for the negative English certificate, you will receive it by 24:00 on the next day.
